At the age of  7, armed with a 80s dual cassette boom box and some blank cassette tapes, the rest was history! Mza has always been fascinated in making mixtapes for his peers. Since then he has been highly regarded as a mixtape aficionado, putting out a good amount throughout his career. As a DJ, Mza drew a lot of his influences and taste-making skill sets from the 70s, 80s & 90s, Firmly rooted in hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, disco and electronic dance music. With his ability to interweave thru so many different style of music, successfully—places him among the most versatile and highly reputable DJs in Los Angeles.

Over the years he's fine tuned his style & signature sound, one that' resonates well with the LA's eclectic underground scene. Nowhere is this more apparent than at the world famous event called Bridges & on his radio show, Soul Circle Radio.

In 2015, marked a big year for Mza, which included his 1st time traveling abroad to DJ in the Caribbeans, he became an honorary member of the infamous, Mellow Orange label, celebrated the 6 year anniversary of Soul Circle Radio, partnered with Frission Radio (Ireland), and to top it off, he successfully completed his music studio!

Today his primary focus is hosting Soul Circle Radio. The show focuses on all variation of SOUL music from the past to present with frequent guest from all over the globe. With the solid format and eclectic taste, SCR is one of most premier online radio show!
